Because I wanted to know which comics were trending (a.k.a. hot) and after Wizard closed their publishing division I had to do all the tedious manual work myself. This website was the shortcut.

just as a bit of "outsider" if you like info about what drew and draws me to your site when I visit

You Whetton are very genial and play the host to the site very nicely

the search engine you have is informative like that Copra thing ,whats that all about

some of the contributors who post their comic collections ,like the foreign edition collector and the collector who likes all the old rare Charlton items and posts rare odd items

as a lurker I did not visit for speculation ideas ,I visited because of the idiosyncratic views of the collective guys you have here

To see my 90's Image Comics turn into millions!!!!! Sigh.
But also to delve inside my 40 year love of comics, both reading and buying/selling.

I was a refugee from the Valiant boards back when there were no new Valiants being published (post-Acclaim).

My interests in comics (as both fun to read/collect and as assets) are broader than pre-Unity Valiant.

Because..... I listened to a podcast Whett did on Comic zone radio I think and was intrigued. I then very quickly realized how warm and noob friendly this place was in comparison to elistist joints like the CGC boards. Lyria is the corner bar where everyone knows your name and some of the other boards are those swanky clubs where you hope the door man lets you in.....

Also, I consider Whett a close friend and a supporter of mine when I was doing things in the hobby that were not mainstream, or cool, or the latest fad. Whett and the peeps here our genuine...... period.
