I never got the bill, so I sent money anyway and paid the maximum of the possible range he'd quoted. He said the "extras" aren't ready. I don't care about extras. I told him he could send those later and I'd pay shipping cost on that too. I just wanted the comic. I'd already put out a $100 buy price 2 years ago. I came out cheap.

I got them at a show on Sunday. I was VERY disappointed with the show, but I think I did get a good deal. A lot of dealers didn't show up. Dealers left some stuff behind that I'd been hoping to get. Prices were steep at most tables and the condition wasn't that great. I bought the EC's from a guy who picked them up many, many, years ago. The Charlton book was probably brought just for me because a dealer knows I'm looking for Charlton adult humor comics. The three books only set me back $65. The Charlton books in that series can typically sell for $15 on ebay in any condition above fair. They are just flat out rare to find. Dealers like Harley Yee come back with a blank stare if I ask about them. I say "have you ever seen or heard of them?" Harley said "No." A lot of other big dealers say the same.

I think I paid maybe 40% what the EC's are worth. I was hoping to find more items I want.

What comic is this?

Hi by the way. I just recently joined this site. I was hoping to find some software to track my collection.

I live in Dallas and have started collecting (again) after selling my earlier collection years ago (crazed 2nd wife..long story). I was inspired to start collecting again because of the Marvel Zombie issues. I am now trying to acquire key issues.

Welcome to the site yobdab!

We talk a great deal about keys on this site so you shouldn't have to look to hard to find what you need. Including a whole forum devoted to Bronze and Copper Age keys. Thumbs Up

As for tracking software... I personally haven't found anything that I find useful tracking my collection as a whole. I've heard good things about Comic Base and I know there's free software called Comicster that attempts to do the same thing. I haven't used either so I can't really endorse either. I usually just use Microsoft excel. Very Happy

This is a comic that Jim Shooter wrote in collaboration with Denise Wohl for a comic book company she was starting. The comic was only available through Kaballah centers and it was used to promote the "Spirituality For Kids" charity. It's unlikely that the book will be continued, but there may be a second issue out there.

You can track your collection online at

http://comicbookrealm.com/

I have problems with almost every tracking option out there because I always have comics that most people don't know exist.

Bought two of these from Jason Adams...

4 Adams' #nn (SDCC Variant)

It is signed by Neal Adams, Josh Adams, Joel Adams & Jason Adams.
I believe Jason said it was limited to 400 copies. They made one with a B&W cover, but none were at the show. I was going to buy it also.
